Increase Through Obedience

“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.” – Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (NIV)

When we think of increase, we often focus on financial prosperity, but God’s increase goes beyond material wealth. It includes growth in wisdom, favor, spiritual depth, relationships, and influence. Obedience is the key that unlocks God’s blessings and brings about true, lasting increase in all aspects of life.

Deuteronomy 28:1-14 outlines the many blessings that come from obeying God’s Word. It assures us that if we walk in alignment with God’s will, we will experience His favor in everything we do. Obedience is not always easy; it requires humility, discipline, and faith. But the reward is a life marked by fruitfulness, where God’s hand of blessing is evident in every area—our work, family, health, and spiritual journey.

Obeying God’s Word positions us to receive divine provision, protection, and promotion. It aligns our desires with His purposes, ensuring that whatever we put our hands to prospers, because we are operating within His will. As we faithfully follow God, we become channels through which His increase flows, not only in our own lives but in the lives of those around us.

Prayer Points:

1- Lord, grant me the strength and courage to obey Your Word, even when it’s difficult.

2- Father, give me discernment to hear and understand Your instructions clearly. Open my eyes to see the path You have laid before me.

3- Oh Lord, as I align myself with Your will, I ask that You bless my life with increase and fruitfulness.
