Scripture: Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Courage is a vital trait for every believer. In Joshua 1:9, God commands Joshua to be strong and courageous as he leads the Israelites into the Promised Land. This command is accompanied by the assurance that God will be with him wherever he goes. Similarly, we are called to live courageously, trusting in God’s presence and promises.
Knowing that God is with us gives us the strength to be courageous. His presence reassures us that we are never alone in our battles.
